N – Natalie - Freshman (Nursing)

Major: Nursing, inspired by her mother who is a nurse.

I’ve always admired my mom. She’s a nurse, and I grew up watching her care for others, always giving without asking for anything in return. I want to be just like her, but I’m scared. The classes are hard, and the clinicals are overwhelming. I keep wondering if I’ll be able to handle it, if I’ll be as good as she is. I pray every night for wisdom, “God, help me learn, help me care the way she does.” It feels like such a big responsibility, but I know this is where I’m supposed to be. I have to keep going, even when I’m not sure I’m strong enough.
