P – Patricia (Teacher's Aide)

I’ve been working as a teacher’s aide for over 15 years, but lately, I feel like I’m losing touch with why I even started this job in the first place. The stress is unbearable, and some days, the classroom feels more like a battlefield. One of my students, a little girl, has been acting out, and I’m at my wit’s end. I went to the bathroom, closed the door, and just prayed, 'Lord, help me love her the way You do. Give me patience and wisdom.' That afternoon, she came to me with a shy smile and whispered, 'Thank you for always helping me.' It wasn’t much, but it was enough to remind me that God is with me in the mess. Prayer helps me see beyond the chaos, to the heart of the situation.
