H – Hector (Construction Worker)

Every day on the job, I give everything I’ve got. My body aches, my hands are worn, but I keep pushing through because there’s a family depending on me. But lately, the fear of injury, of not being able to provide, has been eating me alive. Last week, after a long day, I sat on the edge of my bed and prayed, 'God, keep me safe. Provide for my family, even when I can’t see the way.' The next day, I got an offer for a better-paying job with better benefits. I know that was God’s hand at work. Prayer is the hope that keeps me going, even when the future seems uncertain.
