A – Avery - Freshman (Pre-Med)

Major: Pre-Med, with dreams of becoming a surgeon.

I’m just starting out, and it’s overwhelming. Everyone says college will be the time of my life, but I feel more lost than ever. I came here to follow my dream of becoming a doctor, to save lives, but I’m barely keeping up with my classes. I feel like I don’t belong in this space, like everyone else is so much smarter than me. I pray every night for strength, for clarity. I tell God, “If you want me to be a healer, show me the way.” Sometimes, it’s hard to hear His voice over all the noise of exams and expectations. I just need a sign that I’m on the right path.
